Here’s your weekly opportunity to enjoy tales from others who also love rowing. This weekly round-up is for a short list of interesting, in-depth articles for you to read over the weekend.

And of course, if you have news that you think other readers would enjoy – send it to us via our contact page. Each day we tweet and retweet short rowing news links that our followers are sharing – to get these follow @rowperfect on Twitter.

This week in the rowing online news several stories caught our eye:

  • The annual head to head in Washington State for the Windermere Cup is this weekend.  Added fun with visiting crews from Argentina and New Zealand (my former coachees at Otago University).  Coach Mike Callaghan has been using Rowperfects for the past 3 years with great race results.
  • Kate Giles designs the GB Rowing team kit.  Sounds as though adidas haven’t got their usual stranglehold on olympic gear – Reckon we’ll have to look out for what the best dressed rower is wearing at the Olympic Regatta!
  • Rowley Douglas loses his appeal against the coxswain selection for the GB Mens 8.  Greg Searle’s blog post from Varese at training camp.
  • And a video of Australian UCI racing at WIRA  Sunshine, flat water, what’s not to like about this?
