Just found a great website called “As they saw it” which has collated a section on what the sport of rowing was like in years gone by.  Not sure how they compiled this list – but it’s great rowing history reading.  Mostly American… but fun nonetheless.

  • 1941 Rowing
  • 1970 Rowing
  • 1964 Rowing

There’s no delicate way to put this. If you’re a regular Rowperfect reader, you’re just . . . well . . . smarter than most people looking to improve their rowing, sculling, coxing or coaching.
