The great team at Womens Sport Network are creating a map of classes for women who want to get active in UK and Northern Ireland – it’s called ActiveMapX.

WSNet will be promoting all of our FREE ‘Get ACTIVE’, JOBSNetWORK, SportsREPORTs plus other ‘best practice’ opportunities for WomenSport and SportsWomen to support the launch. This will include lots of promotion of ACTIVEMapX – so if you’re not promoting your local class/club or event on ACTIVEMapX you run the risk of missing out on a huge promotional programme – all aimed at getting more women and girls to TRY the sort of Sport/FIT activities you run in your local community.

ACTIVEMapX was set up to meet the specific needs and preferences of women and girls in getting active in the local community. The mapping facility really helps folk who aren’t sure what they are looking for and just want to see ‘what’s going on’. ACTIVEMapX has a much greater penetration of smaller classes – particularly those NOT held in big health centres/and gym ‘chains’ which many of our community try to avoid. We give the smaller, organic set ups – run mostly by women for women – a chance to compete with the big ‘boys’ – and its FREE.

So if you’re not using ACTIVEMapX – now’s your chance to get on before Monday! Follow @WSNet on Twitter for more information.

Post your class here – http://wsnet.co.uk/activemapx – (UK NI only).

Join ACTIVEMapX along with 20,000 other women’s events/classes, we’re also using it to help Breakthrough Breast Cancer – help women cancer sufferers live a more normal life.  You can select from a range of some 45 class ‘pins’ and reach out to our 45k community.
