I’ve just been alerted to Rowperfect’s rowing club sponsorship offer. I’d really like to find out more about the monthly coaching and the RowingChat podcasts.

What kinds of topics do these cover, and how is this information provided? Would it be possible to email me a couple of samples?

I’m really interested in up-skilling our coaches, but I don’t want to overload them with information that may not be relevant to their skill level (we have a wide range of coaches in our club – some with a lot and some with very little experience). Just trying to get a sense of the level at which these resources are pitched.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for asking such great questions.

The monthly podcast Rowing Chat works like this:

  1. We announce who Rebecca is interviewing – it could be an athlete or a coach or an administrator (like Annamarie Phelps)
  2. You reserve a ticket to listen live or get the recording (it’s the same ticket) AND at the same time submit a question you want answered
  3. We use your questions and other listeners’ questions in the interview

Here’s the full list of historic Rowing Chats you can listen and find out what we talk about.  Drew Ginn and Robin Williams are particularly Good.

We also have them onYouTube as videos.

The podcast is the same as the monthly coaching – you ask the questions and I get you answers.  People tend to ask for specific how to coach the catch, or should I point my toes at the finish.  Or how to coach inflexible athletes.

Here are all the details of Rowperfect club sponsorship.
