Finding rowers on Twitter

Here at Rowperfect we have been using Twitter for a year to help cross-promote our brand and the blog page you’re reading.  It has been a learning experience for us.  Since we started a host of new tools have been written to assist with Twitter and we just found a new one called Topsy.
It is a search engine for tweets – so if you are looking to connect with other people who row or scull or crew, then you can do it on the site.
The main feature we like is “experts” as it checks within tweets to find your specified search term – here are the people who use the word ‘rowperfect’ in their tweets – it says their Twitter name, how they describe themselves and the number of times the search term has been mentioned.
Neat eh?
