During Sunday’s heats I observed different rowing styles and focused a bit on which crews connect through the heels or the balls of the feet at the finish. Which of the two is more efficient, that question I leave open.
Official Line is that Racing has been delayed.
Well, its always good to get the first row of the regatta out of the way, get the cobwebs out of the system, size up the opposition, and puff and breath a bit.
This afternoon marks the first day of racing for small boats singles, pairs, and fours.
The games are opened – waiting for our Heat. It was my first opening ceremony and it was a great experience.
Up not so early to watch the rowing heats onn Day 2 of the Olympic Regatta in Beijing.
