Marcin from Strokeside Design here gives you his best tips on what to wear this spring and how to match with the best accessories. Strokeside Designs is a company based in New York that creates, manufactures and markets unique personal rowing jewellery made from genuine materials. Their vision is to bring the best jewellery and accessories to rowers, families, and all who caught the positive bug to love the sport!

The perfect look and accessories for Spring Rowing Season

With the spring rowing season not far off, it is a good time to start planning what you are going to wear and which accessories you will match the look with. Looking for some ideas on the stylish look for rowing banquets? We have a couple for you!

Choose a simple colour scheme

First, begin by selecting a simple colour scheme. For women who aren’t feeling too bold, a little black dress is a good choice as it is flattering to the figure and it will always look classic; it makes a great investment piece then it can be styled to match almost any occasion. In addition, if you wearing block colours it can help to show off any accessories you might be wearing to get a better effect. To get more inspiration and suggestion on what to wear whis spring you can check InStyle.

If you don’t like black, select any block colour and accessorize to make the outfit unique. If you decide to go with a print design, choose something subtle, rather than too dressy, and don’t let the wearing detract from any of the accessories you intend to wear.

Dress for your Shape and Stature

To look your best, you need to dress for your shape and stature. For instance, if you are petite, a long dress will swamp your small frame, while a short, fitted dress would look much better. If you have a
broad lower body, don’t draw attention to it with patterns, instead, try to wear something which will draw the attention to your upper body. If you are one of the few fortunate to be tall and slim, then you can probably get away with most styles.

Choose your Rowing Jewellery well

When you have chosen your outfit for the evening, event or rowing banquet you need accessories to enhance your outfit. When it comes to accessories, it is best to opt for something delicate and stylish, which will complement the rest of the outfit rather than detract from it.

The affordably priced Oar Blade Pendant has a simple design fitting majority of evening dresses. Alternatively, the Bent Oar Pendant is another excellent choice; its contemporary design is perfect for the new rowing season. The pendants are available in 925 silver or 14k gold.
