Spanner Spotter is another quirky rowing website we’ve stumbled upon during our web wanderings – thanks to Paddy for the steer.

Spanner spotter is not a coaching website … it’s a crew humiliation site where you can watch and make comments on rowing videos. You can spot the spanners and also let them know what you think.

The site has a rating system that lets you to give each individual crew member a spanner rating. 1 Spanner is good and the more spanners you get, the worse your score.

Oh and did we mention you can even choose to watch some of the videos in slow motion? because you can!

Here’s a sample of what they have on the site…… Cox steering a race while a crew apparently ‘parked’ in the bank start to back out towards a collision…
