I am a 17 year old going into year 12 at school and currently get a 6:55 2 km on sliders at 64 kilos and 172 centimeters, and would sayI am an aerobic athlete. I want to know how to improve my ergo to around 6:35, so I can make the first VIII and win HOTR at my school. What should I do?

I am going to pass you over to Walter Martindale who is an expert coach on our Rowperfect Coaches Panel and has written the book about Ergo Testing for rowers.

I suggest two things

you buy his book Ergometer Testing for Rowers
  1. you buy Walter’s time as a coach to guide you towards ways to improve your erg score so you can win HOTR next year.

Anyone else in the same situation?
