There’s a wide variety of home exercises that you can perform with no equipment – all you need is a bit of motivation. There should be no excuse for not being able to improve your body and health – stay fit and train at home, the following home exercise circuit by Raf Wyatt can be a good start for those times when you can’t train with your crew or are away from home.

Always give sufficient time for your home workouts to include a warm-up with suitable stretches and likewise a cool down with stretching to finish.

By working with a family member or neighbour you will generally spur each other on and get far better results and more enjoyment.

There’s no delicate way to put this. If you’re a regular Rowperfect reader, you’re just . . . well . . . smarter than most people looking to improve their rowing, sculling, coxing or coaching.
