The Rowperfect classic uses a serial port cable to join to a PC. Sometimes the wires pull out.

If you want to replace with wires with a soldering iron, here’s how.

On the photograph  the number 1 pin is on the left hand side of both connectors.

So your conductor colours may be different but:

• Pin 1 on the RG12 plug goes to Pin 2 on the serial socket.
• Pin 2 goes to Pin 3 on Serial socket
• Pin 3 goes to Pin 4
• Pin 4 goes to Pin 5
• Pin 5 goes to Pin 7
