Watching the spectators

Advertisements

Attending the Worlds or Olympics is a spectator sport in more ways than one.  We get as much enjoyment from looking at the spectators as the competitors.

Now the Canadians may sport some wierd head gear (flourescent yellow bandannas) but their supporters lead the charge in getting noticed.

Here’s who we’ve seen so far this regatta:

  • the knitting Norweigan
  • German clapper-lady
  • Swiss cow bell
  • Mahe’s nephew
  • Danish identikits
