Rowing Poem: Teamwork

Advertisements

teamworkA team, a collaborative work ethic, a way of life that has been used from the begining of mankind. It’s a way of love as well. A unity in which a team thrives and grows. This team is open to everyone who is willing to participate and take risks that will further the team and ultimately themselves. We now scull the water with our firewood oars, cutting the water in one stroke, which is actually four or more people striking at once. The waves splashing against the boat, rocking now, but hold, then watch, listen, and wait for the right moment to leap into action, and recover their loss in synchronization. But the boat keeps rocking because there is no sudden sway of one hand, but many at different times. How they catch and move together, and when they push no further, they keep going as one. A unified team.
