Creative rowing artist Peter Schonwandt has a unique method of making his artworks – they are built from old computer keyboard letters (keycaps).
Recruiting contributions of disused keyboards from rowing athletes such as Donna Etiebet, Andy Triggs-Hodge, Annamarie Phelps, Katrin Thoma and Nigel Longley he has made an unique artwork called Rowing Champions. The sum total of 1,735 key caps have been built into this picture of a sculler.

Rowperfect was fortunate to meet Peter Schonwandt with his colleague, Nigel Longley at Henley Royal Regatta.
Using the heady regatta atmosphere, the duo collected autographs for the back of the frame from a great range of rowing internationals including Jack Beaumont, Alan Campbell, Sean Colgan, James Cracknell, Gary O’Donovan, Paul O’Donovan, Tim Foster, Jürgen Grobler, Angus Groom, Phelan Hill, Mark Hunter, Matt Langridge, Andy Parkinson, Annamarie Phelps, Sir Matthew Pinsent, Tom Ransley, Will Satch, Moe Sbihi, Gavin Stewart, Mike Sweeney, Matthew Tarrant, Katrin Thoma, Andy Triggs-Hodge and Spencer Turrin.
