Quirky Rowing Websites: Hear the Boat Sing

Advertisements

Goran Buckthorn is a Swede based in USA and has been writing his rowing blog for three years.  We first heard about him with this blog post he wrote about the 2011 Scullers Head in London.

He has an interest in the history and context of rowing in modern life and this lends his blog updates an unique tone.  He also has international correspondents from France and the UK.  Read this recent post interviewing Olaf Tufte who guested in a quad from AK and gave the locals some coaching advice as well.

We also liked this link to the new Olympic postage stamps for the Isle of Man post office designed by Paul Smith.  Lovely rowing imagery.

Quirky rowing websites is an occasional series on the Rowperfect blog – read others here.  Or suggest one we should feature.
