I have a 2006 Stampli Front Carbon Wing Rigger single scull, please would you let me know my options for storing the boat outside using one of your bags.
You have two options
Boat Bag for single scull[/caption]
1 – buy a Single Scull boat bag – this goes onto the boat when it’s rigged or de-rigged. BUT the riggers stick outside the bag. [We have patterns for all Stampfli boats]
2 – also buy a wing rigger bag (if you’ve got a quick release Stampfli rigger this should be quick to use).
We could also get a special order made up of two bags to go over each side of the rigger while it’s mounted on the boat and to affix to the sides of the boat bag – but we’d need to get this priced by the manufacturer.
I found my carbon wing lost some of its external gelcoat finish (it went rough rather than smooth) after being stored outside with a bag over the boat but not over the rigger.
You can also get scull bags to store your oars in.
