Interested in video capture for rowing? Melissa Thompson the brains behind the Hyndsight Vision system wrote a comment on our blog.

Hyndsight Vision Systems now has a recordable model called Capture? Up to 4 cameras can be strategically placed to record all at once while providing real time video stream. Both coach and rower can benefit tremendously.

The latest version of the Hyndsight Vision system offers the option to record.

The product footprint is identical to the Cruz and Journey units.  The only visible difference is that the camera and monitor are entirely black, and they come in an orange case (instead of black).

The primary features are:

  • Recording ability – directly to the monitor and/or to a microSD card in the camera(s).
  • Zoom ability – 3 levels of zoom are possible
  • Remote on/off
  • Night mode vision
  • Pair up to 4 cameras

The product range is up to 1/3 mile (unobstructed view), similar to the Cruz and Journey.  The camera has a 72 degree angle as opposed to the Cruz (21 degree), Journey (45 degree) and Journey wide (95 degree).
