Olympic Rowing Liveblog – Breaking: Delays and Weather Update

Racing for men’s C-F Finals was completed this morning but there is currently a thirty minute delay before the B-Finals start.

The FISA Fairness Commission have decided that the lanes are not fair across the lake and they are re-drawing lanes for B-Finals and (we assume) A-Finals. FISA have not announced details of the new lane draw. There is a crosswind from the island side (blowing from lane 6 across to lane 1). We assume winners of semifinals will be drawn in lanes 5 and 6 which are sheltered by the bank and grandstands.

Update: Revised lane draw. Crews who qualified first in heats or semifinals are drawn in lanes 6 and 5.
