Sweep Oar Designs

- Apex RG - a rounded and smooth faced spoon also available as high modulus
The sweep oars are adjustable length and a choice of 2 handle sizes, 2 grip types, 3 spoon shapes, 2 shaft stiffnesses and customisable average length/inboard.
They come with either white or black sleeves and include measurement decals for easy adjustment on the sleeve and on the handle.
Standard specification is 374:114 length and inboard, medium stiffness, medium half grip wrap handle and your choice of spoon shape.

In March 2009 the Tideway Scullers School assembled a "Great Eight" of the top Olympian scullers in order to compete at the Head of the River Race and celebrate 50 years of the Club's entry to the event. Coach Bill Barry selected Dreher Apex Sweep oars for the crew to use.
They won the race beating Leander club by 3.5 seconds.
